Selling Tips

Preparing your truck for sale is absolutely key to getting your best price. Here’s the key 3 tips!

1.Gather your trucks details.

Collect all of the pertinent information on the vehicle, like year, make, model, and VIN. You’ll also want to know if there are any outstanding recalls on the car. You’re not required by law to have recalls taken care of before a sale, but you may have no choice but to sacrifice some of the vehicle’s value for not having it taken care of.

2.Wash and detail your truck.

Inside and out, your truck should be cleaned and spotless before you take any photos or show your truck. A dirty mess may deter buyers from seeing the true condition of the truck and could, in turn, affect your selling price.

3.Take good photos of your truck.

Truck photos are your biggest tools in selling your truck. Typically 8-10 photos is required showing exterior sides, front and back views. Interior cab views opening the driver side doors, and close-up tire tread on one of the front and back tires. Don’t try to hide any flaws or imperfections. Be honest, but also try to highlight the vehicle’s features.
